We’ll provide an estimate with clear line items, no hidden fees, and a full explanation of any recommendations. You’ll always know what you’re paying for and why.
We’re not just roofers. We’re regular people who shop just like you do! So we know it helps to have an idea of what roofing prices might be.
Roofing is generally priced by the “square”. A square is 100 sq. ft. of roof surface. So if you know the square footage of your roof, you can get an idea of what a new roof might cost. You can also use our roof quote tool that can help you with the measurements.
Important things to consider when comparing prices are: (i) quality of the materials used, (ii) skill and reputation of the roofers, and (iii) warranty period. So, do your research and make sure to ask lots of questions!

Asphalt shingles offer homeowners a wide range of styles, durability levels, and price points. Owens Corning and GAF are two major brands offering comparable quality and roof asphalt shingles prices. We install shingles from those brands, and many others, too. However, we believe Atlas offers slightly better quality, and its Class 3 impact-resistant shingles may qualify homeowners for an insurance discount with many carriers. Check with your agent.
For a premium option, CertainTeed Presidential Shake TL is essentially the top of the line for asphalt shingles, with a thick, luxurious profile designed to resemble cedar shake.
Metal roofing offers excellent durability, weather resistance, and energy efficiency, making it a strong choice for Colorado homes. Metal roofing prices may depend on the material, profile, and overall design. There are several metal roofing styles available, but standing seam is the most common option we install in Colorado. We recommend it for its enhanced strength, clean appearance, and excellent fire and hail resistance. We install other metal roofing systems as well.
Tile roofing combines long-term durability with strong fire and hail resistance, while offering homeowners a wide range of colors, shapes, and styles. However, tile roofing prices may vary. Westlake Saxony Slate Tile is a very common choice in Colorado, but it is far from the only option. We install a wide variety of products, allowing homeowners to choose a style and level of performance that fits their home and budget.
There is no single average price for a new roof. Based on the roofing options and starting prices listed above, homeowners can expect a broad range depending on the roofing material they choose. Asphalt shingles generally provide the most budget-friendly option, while premium shingles, tile, and metal roofing represent higher-end choices. These starting roofing prices provide a useful baseline when planning your roofing project.
For this reason, these starting prices should be viewed as a baseline rather than a guaranteed project cost. A professional roof inspection can provide a more accurate estimate based on your specific roof.
The prices shown above are the approximate starting prices for each of these roof material options. Factors that will increase these costs are the following:
Other factors can also influence roofing prices, including the material selected and the complexity of the installation. Features such as skylights, chimneys, vents, and other roof penetrations may require additional labor and materials.
These details are why two homes with similar roof sizes can have different project costs. A personalized inspection and estimate can account for these factors and provide a clearer picture of what your roofing project may require.
For roof repairs, we can’t give a range because there are just too many variables. However, we are happy to come out, assess the problem, and provide you a free, no-obligation estimate. If we are fortunate enough to earn your business, we’ll fix it right the first time. That’s why we are one of the few roofing companies in Denver to guarantee our repairs.
